“Wish Tree” Kathreinkogel

Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Lake Wörthersee and the "Rosental". The Kathreinkogel is 772m high and is situated between the River Drava and the western bay of Lake Wörthersee.

First settlements date back to 7th millennium before Christ. Archaeological discoveries are indicating that Mesolithic hunters and gatherers (7 / 6th millennium BC) and Neolithic farmers (3rd millennium BC) have used the mountain to settle.
